challenge
Unclear tasks and priorities
A web design company has hired a young UX/UI specialist.
Previous implementation processes relied mainly on handing over documents, which resulted in a lack of understanding of expectations and slowed down work.
New hires felt lost in terms of priorities and real project requirements, which increased the time it took to become fully effective.
approach
4 steps to full productivity
1. mapping out key tasks
We identified the new employee’s primary responsibilities and prioritized them. We divided the tasks into: HR. Team leader, Team scolding, assigned “buddy”
2. Creating an onboarding path
We developed an implementation schedule with clear milestones:
- Week 1: Introduction to working tools and short testing tasks.
- Week 2: Integration into the project team and assignment of tasks from current projects.
- Week 3: Independent implementation of the task with the possibility of consultation.
3. Buddy system
We assigned a mentor, selected from among those willing to advance in leadership, who monitored progress and answered questions. At the same time, he worked with the training team so as to fill in the gaps in the new employee’s knowledge on an ongoing basis.
4. Verification of results
After each week, the new employee received feedback, and goals were modified according to progress.

results
New employees reached full productivity time faster, with fewer errors
- New employee completed a task independently within 3 weeks, which was positively evaluated by the customer.
- Reduced errors by 25% compared to previous implementations.
- Increased engagement – new employees feel more confident in their responsibilities and have a better understanding of expectations.
